Hey Imaginarians, author Keshia Swaim is revealing the cover of her newest release, Blood Bound, artwork from the always incredible Skecher Girl Studios. Here's the deal...
This one's a bit tricksy, because it's a two-fer!
Spencer Hill Press is having trouble deciding which cover they want, so they are giving YOU the power!!!
(MWHAHAHAAAA!!!! Can you feel it going to your head yet?)
So! Let's hear about the book first!
Blood Bound
Starting college a year early is hard. Starting fae college and learning to protect the world from the Unseelie is harder.
Brielle Reed has always been an over-achiever, but this time she may have bitten off more than she can chew. Between her crash course in fae politics, struggles to control her new mind-reading ability, training sessions with the demanding Dr. Schwartz, and discoveries about the father who is still a mystery to her, Brielle finds herself longing for a chance at a normal life.
But she may not get that chance. Or chance at a life at all, for that matter.

ReplyDeleteMe. too! Vics does great work, doesn't she?
Deletehey, Melsy, I hope you're safe from that horrid wench Sandy this week :(
ReplyDeleteI am safe, just a lot of horrendous wind. Thank you sweetie :)
DeleteI've already voted on this one too. I still like the cover with the girl better. It's very cool that they're asking for opinions.
ReplyDeleteI think it's cool they let us pick, too. :) The cover with the girl is my fave too.
Deletethey need to come to me... i can make a monster out of these covers... though if i need to choose... done! see dammit, i always seem to make it about me... i am a constant salesman.
ReplyDelete:)
Your work is brilliant and I know who I'm coming to for monsters. :) And why is it all about you? LOL
DeleteWhat did you think of this week's Walking Dead? Creepy fish tank eh?
ReplyDeleteI LOVED this week. Seeing Merle cowed by the Governor and that creepy fish tank seen. Is he steeling himself in order to keep doing what he's doing? And what about the way he killed those Army guys?
DeleteOh to have such power...I've got my "hand" on the pulse, as it were! *grin*
ReplyDeleteAs I haven't mentioned it before, I will here - a like your new avatar photo! It's fun to shake it up...I'm still stuck in a time warp with mine!
I would love to have seen Retro-Zombies take on these covers too!!!
I'd love to have that power, too. :)
DeleteAww.. Thanks! You are so sweet, I almost didn't change my pic at all, I was so nervous. Hugs!
RZ definitely rocks the cover art. He made me into a zombie and it's one of my favorite pics.
I'm a hands on kind of gal! I like imaging the MC for myself~
ReplyDeleteI love imagining the MC for myself sometimes, too. ;)
DeleteVoted! Sounds like an interesting read! Best of luck to Ms. Swaim with it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Craig! It does sound like a really great read, doesn't it?
DeleteHave to go with the girl. Something about the hand one looks like it was made using art programs from the early eras of the internet.
ReplyDeleteI like the girl, myself. She's got a very interesting face.
DeleteVoted! Glad you made it through the storm all right.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura! I appreciate your kind thoughts. :)
DeleteI LOVE the hand... so much more interesting than just another pretty face... lol.
ReplyDeleteWONDERFUL visiting with you on MONDAY... had THE best time. And I really LOVE your new pic..... I don't know if I've told you or not...
