I can't believe it's Thanksgiving already. On the one hand I am relieved since that means the year is almost over, on the other, it seems like time has just flown. 2012 has been filled with extreme lows and a few highs, which unfortunately did not balance out those lows. However, I did discover this year that I have the most amazing people in my life and that includes all of you out there who stop by, read my posts and leave wonderful comments. It makes me smile and feel loved and supported. You are my online family, my friends, my Imaginarians and I am so thankful for all of you. I would not be here without you. You are the very best and I love you.
I wish every one of you a very peaceful, blessed day filled with all good things. If I could hug each one of you I would, but alas I don't have access to the TARDIS or the Starship Enterprise. Peace and laughter, my friends.
Wishing you lovely Thankseating day, Melsy :)
ReplyDeleteHope next year will be better for us, It can't be any worse than this one :(
Here's to a much better year next year, Dezz. We deserve it after the things that happened this year and the previous one too. 2011 sucked as well. ;)
Delete'tis true, Melsy, 'tis true
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving. And cheers to better times to come for both you and Dez, I know it's been a tough year, and I really do wish all good things for you in the future.
ReplyDeletethanks, Luanne, hope you're enjoying the holiday in Colorado :)
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving - I hope its great
ReplyDeleteThank you! As I am writing this post Turkey Day, I can safely say that it was. :)
DeleteEnjoy your day! Another Thanksgiving of Detroit losing. If Cosbolts were real, I'll teleport over to see you. Just keep believing in a better future. When all else fails, you can't lose hope.
ReplyDeleteI wish Cosbolts were real, too. Poor Detroit, they've become a bit a of whipping boy on Turkey Day.
DeleteYou're absolutely right, keeping hope is the most important thing. I love that saying from the film Best Exotic Marigold Hotel "Things will turn out all right in the end and if they are not all right, then it is not the end, yet."
Happy Thanksgiving, sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteWe don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Europe, but I'm kind of pissed off about that. I think it's important to have a holiday like this.
And since it's Thanksgiving today, I'd like to thank you for being such an amazing friend. The blogosphere wouldn't be the same without you! I mean it!
Blagodarya! (which means "Thank you" in Bulgarian) :)
Aww, thank you and for the Bulgarian phrase too! I will write this down so I remember. And you made me smile huge. This place would not be the same without you, either, hon. And I'm very happy to count you among my good friends and favorite people.
DeleteIt is important to have a day to remember all the good people we have in our lives. I love Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving. We've had a rather rough year as well, but the high point has definitely been meeting so many amazing new people online. We did the "what are you thankful for" thing at the dinner table and everyone chuckled when I said my blog--but I totally meant it. It's definitely been one of the high points of my year. :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!!
Thank you! I know what you mean about being thankful for your blog. My Imaginarium has definitely been a high point and I don't know what I would do without this place now.
DeleteI hope you enjoyed your day, too. Being with family and friends is such a spirit lifter.
Happy Thanksgiving, Melissa...I hope it was (as you'll read this after it's said and done) a wonderful gathering, with delicious eats and lots of positivity.
ReplyDeleteI do hope your 2012 ends in such a way that it jump starts the coming year...upward and onward to bigger and better things.
I'm raising my little glass of whiskey to you - Cheers! This little playground would be nothing without you and your amazing blog. It was a great day when I discovered YOU!
Hugs, Jenny
Jenny, you made my month. :)Thank you for the toast. I will most assuredly raise a similar one to you this weekend when I indulge a couple of glasses of good moscato.
DeleteThank you so much for the well wishes and warm, positive thoughts. I am so very, very happy we connected through A to Z. You are one of my favorite people and I would miss you terribly if you ever left.
Huge hugs, my friend. :) Here's to an epic 2013 for all of us.
Happy to be an Imaginarian Melissa! Congrats on the highs and sorry about the lows. If you get a TARDIS, let's do a time share in it.
ReplyDeleteMaurice, I am happy to have you in this awesome crew of mine. The Imaginarians are even cooler with you here.
DeleteThank you!
And yes, time share in the TARDIS. We would have some great adventures.
I'm buying a TARDIS for Christmas, lol. Then the highs would balance the lows~ I'm happy to be an Imaginarian, too!
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree with you about the fast and coaster ride~
Cheer Melissa! I'm thankful for your friendship~ You are authentic, I love that about you n' your humor :D @>-------
Hey Ella! I'm ever so thankful we stumbled across each other in this blogosphere. I am so happy you are in the Imaginarians and count you as a good friend.
DeleteA TARDIS would make an excellent gift, we should all have time shares like Maurice said. Oh to balance those lows. Well, here's to better things in the weeks and days ahead. :)
The lows this year mean you'll have an amazing 2013! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Laura! I sure hope so. I could use an amazing year as the last two have been full of more lows than highs. :)
DeleteSigning on as an Imaginarian has been a great gift - I'm thankful there's an Imaginarium to hang out in - and thankful there's a Mel B to run it and just generally be awesome. Sorry I missed getting in here with a Happy Thanksgiving on the day - but better late than never, right?
ReplyDeleteAww... You know how to make a girl blush, my friend. I think the day we hooked up was movie and pop culture serendipity and I am very grateful. :)
DeleteThe light and Welcome mat are always out for you. I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday.
I'm very thankful for your friendship too, Melissa. You are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
xoRobyn
Aww.. Big hugs! Thank you Robyn! It goes without say that your friendship means the world to me and I am very grateful we connected.
DeleteHope you had a great Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for all the awesome peeps I've met through blogging, especially you. Thank you for all your comments, our little FB chats and of course, Maxie!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI did, my friend. :) I adore our friendship and think the world of you. My little corner of the world would definitely not be the same without you. It makes me so happy that you have Maxie and can enjoy reading the physical paperback.
DeleteHi Mel, this year seemed to go on forever ... not really in a bad way, but it seems as if January was so long ago. In our family, so much was packed inside of 2012. Glad you had a great Thanksgiving; I am so happy to have you as my Blend! (That means Blog Friend, btw.)
ReplyDeleteKathy M.
Hey Kathy I am happy to have you and my Blend, too. 2012 did seem to go on forever, but it was an up and down year for me so I am quite happy to see it be on its way out. Thanks for all the beautiful pics this year and sharing your experiences with us. You have given me so much to smile about and appreciate. :)
