Congratulations, Diane! Have a great weekend, everyone. I'm hoping to get a new laptop this weekend. Yes, I am going from desk top PC to laptop. I'm slowly, but surely working my way into the 21st century. LOL You know, I still use a simple flip phone. No smart phones here and no texting. I think our atmosphere just lost a significant amount of oxygen from the collective gasp. Yeah, tech and me are not simpatico whatsoever. But, I'm hoping to change that this weekend so wish me luck.

  1. This book is definitely on my TBR list. Its publication is such good timing.

I have a laptop, but I still find I use my desktop the most. I'm resisting that whole 21st century thing for as long as I can...

    Good luck!

  3. Congratulations to Diane! I'm hosting her today at my site.
And glad you're finally getting your new computer. Don't worry about that flip phone though. I still don't even own a cell phone!

  4. Thank you so much Melissa.

We bought a laptop a few years ago so I could use it for business on the road. My husband took control of it and I haven't seen it since.

  5. I would think this book would go like gang busters.

Once you go to a laptop, you'll never go back to a PC. Just the comfort of writing while sitting in a comfortable lounger will win you over.

I plowed my way through all 3 books in a single night. I'm still sweating :)

  6. Looks like a great book! Good for you for getting a new laptop, Melissa.

We just got a new computer a few months ago and then a laptop the other day (Toshiba ... $450). We will use the laptop more when we travel, but I really like having both. What I am excited about is our new printer and wireless modem. We bit the bullet and splurged on the printer but I am so glad that we are all up to date. The smartphone ... I am finally making friends with it after a year and a half.

    Have a great weekend!

  11. Diane's book looks like a "must-buy." I've put it on my list.

We are soul sisters! I have a flip phone too. While I send text msgs, the msgs are sometimes blank (oops) and/or misdirected (double oops).

Good luck with the laptop. You won't know how you ever did without one. Some day, when I say goodbye to my PC, I won't know either.

    Big hugs, my friend.
